    Underdamped Oscillation Example

    Description: A spring with a red ball at the bottom is hanging down from a black, horizontal, line. Next to the spring is a graph with a decreasing in amplitude sine wave representing the red ball's position when the spring is released. When the play button is pressed, the spring is released and a dotted line extending from the center of the ball, to the line on the graph traces the position of the ball as it oscillates until slowly returning to its starting position. The oscillation of the ball can be changed by typing different values into parameters: m, k, c, and initial conditions: y(0), y'(0). The speed of the spring can also be slowed down or sped up. There is a time bar where the position of the ball can be viewed at a specific second of its oscillation.
