**Construct an equation and use it to solve the following problems.**

- A restaurant charges $350 for use of the banquet room plus $32.50 per person. If the total cost was $3470, how many people attended the event?
- A storage facility charges a fixed cost of $1200 a month for rent and a variable cost of $5 per box that is stored. If the total cost for a month was $1315, how many boxes were stored?
- A car was rented for two days at $19.95 per day plus $0.10 per mile. How many miles were driven if the total bill was $89.70?
- A car was rented for two days at $25 a day plus $0.15 per mile. How many miles were driven if the total bill was $102.50?
- An Internet Provider charges $12.95 a month for 6 hours and $0.25 for each additional hour. How many hours were spent on-line if the Internet bill for the month was $21.20?
- An Internet Provider charges $10 a month for 8 hours of service plus $0.50 an hour for each hour over the initial 8 hours. How many hours were spent online if the Internet bill for a month was $18.50?
