There were 3 billion people on earth in 1960.  In the year 2000, there were 6.1 billion people on earth.  The graph below shows what the population will be given logistics growth and the carrying capacity that you can change by moving the slider below the graph.  This will allow you to forecast the world population over time in the the future.
