  • 1: Prerequisites

In this chapter, we will review sets of numbers and properties of operations used to manipulate numbers. This understanding will serve as prerequisite knowledge throughout our study of algebra and trigonometry.
  • 2: Functions

In this chapter, we will explore functions that are a kind of relationship between parameters and their properties.
  • 4: Polynomial Functions

Inverse functions make it possible to convert from one file format to another. In this chapter, we will learn about these concepts and discover how mathematics can be used in such applications.
  • 7: Matrices

This chapter covers principles of matrices. After completing this chapter students should be able to: complete matrix operations; solve linear systems using Gauss-Jordan method; Solve linear systems using the matrix inverse method and complete application problems.
  • 8: Linear Programming - A Geometric Approach

This chapter covers principles of a geometrical approach to linear programming. After completing this chapter students should be able to: solve linear programming problems that maximize the objective function and solve linear programming problems that minimize the objective function.
