    This course covers mathematical topics needed for elementary school teaching with a focus on quantitative reasoning, problem solving, and communication. Topics include structure of the real number system, numeration systems, computation algorithms, problem solving strategies, and elementary number theory. The course meets requirements for elementary school teacher certification.
