6.2: Geometry

( \newcommand{\kernel}{\mathrm{null}\,}\)

Geometry

Geometry is used in our every day when we decorate, design, and arrange objects in a space.

The most commonly used aspects of geometry are:

  • Perimeter and circumference, when dealing with the length of the edges of an object.
  • Area, when dealing with the amount of surface an object covers.
  • Volume, when dealing with how much an object can hold.

Each of these will be explored in the following sections.

This page titled 6.2: Geometry is shared under a not declared license and was authored, remixed, and/or curated by Leah Griffith, Veronica Holbrook, Johnny Johnson & Nancy Garcia.
