Fluid Force on Window Question

( \newcommand{\kernel}{\mathrm{null}\,}\)

Engineering an Aquarium Window to Handle the Fluid Force

You are an engineer that is responsible for designing a window at an aquarium that will handle the fluid force on a circular aquarium window.  You will be given how far the top of the window is from the surface of the sea water and will be given the radius of the window that is shown below.  The weight density of the sea water in this aquarium is 10,094 Newtons per cubic meter.  You must enter in the total fluid force on the window within an accuracy of 5% or your design will result in a disaster killing all the fish and injuring the visitors who are near the window when it breaks.  Click on the Start button to see the first window.

Click on the New Problem button to get started.
